Quantitative Bestimmung. In den Fabriken wird im technischen Schwefelbarium der Gehalt an Schwefelbarium wie folgt bestimmt: Man lost 5 g der 4* 52 Benzin (Petroleumiither). Schmelze III Wasser von 60 bis 70 0 C. und setzt, ohne erst zu filtriren, Salzsaure in massigem U eberschuss zu. Man filtrirt das Ganze in einen 500 ccm-Kolhen. und wascht den Riickstand gut mit heissem Wasser aus. Nach dem Erkalten fiiIlt man bis zur Marke und falIt in 100 ccm diesel' Losung das Barium in bekannter Weise. -Ztg.
