He shuddered to think what some of the others in the cubicle would do to get their hands on even his paltry supply. Fortunately the stairwell was deserted. Although Dave could vaguely hear sounds of stirring beyond the fire doors he wasn’t too worried.
Despite the spotlights and the heavy fortifications the army had put in place, Dave was pretty sure if the creatures wanted to have them, they would. It sort of made him wonder why they hadn’t already. After all, New South Wales and South Australia had fallen quick enough.
