There are many legends and historic stories pertaining to Mount Agiochook, the second one tallest mountain in Maine. a few of these stories converse of a demon that is living at the rocky slopes close to the mountain's snow-crested summit. Legend has it strength of supernatural evil periodically emerges from the mists that shroud the mountain and springs all the way down to the valley, seeking to declare a life.
