Unabhängig davon, wie man dieses Phänomen erklärt, bleibt festzuhalten, daß auf der Ebene der Texte die ideale heptadische Struktur des 364-Tage-Kalenders nicht durch weitere Zusatzregeln gebrochen wird.

Die in Anklang an Jes 10,23 gestalteten Formulierungen am jeweiligen Ende von V. 26 und 27 liefern auch ein wesentliches Argument dafür, daß die durch die Fortschreibung näher thematisierte Jahrwoche wirklich der in V. 26 bereits dargestellten siebzigsten Jahrwoche entspricht und nicht etwa in deren Anschluß zu verorten ist. Durch die terminologische Klammer zwischen beiden Versenden (9,26: ‫ ;נחרצת שממות‬9,27: ‫ועד כלה ונחרצה‬ ‫ )תת על שמ‬wird eine Synchronität der jeweils zuvor geschilderten Ereignisse hergestellt, vor deren Hintergrund sich auch die eingangs genannten Spannungen im Duktus in ein kohärentes Gesamtbild integrieren.
