In the first two issues of the journal (April and May 1895), Sorel published a long article titled “Mr. ” The tone of Sorel’s articles was respectful, except when he evaluated the political ideas of the author of The Rules of Sociological Method and The Division of Labor in Society: “The author takes a forceful stand against socialism.
